The 2025/26 season is now officially in the books for Manchester United, and it was a campaign in which we had several standout performers. It was a much more successful season than Manchester United have had in the past two years, with a third-place finish and, importantly, Champions League football secured.Michael Carrick has got the job permanently as a result, and there is a real positive feeling that next season will be even better. So, with the football concluded, here are our end-of-season ratings.Where does Bruno Fernandes rank among Man Utd greats after his INCREDIBLE 2025/26 campaign?Fernandes has won every individual award possible so far, is he a club legend? If not, what does he need to do to earn this tag? 🏆Senne Lammens – 9Incredible debut season for Lammens, coming in with minimal expectations, he has established himself as one of the best in the league. Will only get better next season.Altay Bayindir – 3.5Was a complete disaster at the start of this season, costing United points that would have had us in a title race. Likely his last season at the club.Luke Shaw – 7.5Arguably his best season for the club, he managed to remain fit throughout and topped it off with a goal against Forest. Hopefully, this isn’t a one-off.More United NewsDiogo Dalot – 7.5A huge beneficiary of Carrick’s arrival, shining back in his more natural full-back role and has been excellent since January, one of the first names on the team-sheet.What is your verdict on Diogo Dalot’s 2025/26 season?Leny Yoro – 6.5Another hot and cold campaign for the young defender as he showed promising signs, but ultimately hasn’t done enough to earn a starting role. He will get more game time next season, but United should also be considering a loan.Patrick Dorgu – 6.5Unfortunately, Dorgu’s campaign was derailed by injury, but his late December to late January form was very impressive. Hopefully, he gets chances at left-back next season.Harry Maguire – 7.5Maguire earned himself a new deal, proving invaluable to Carrick and has been regularly starting. Will be vital next season in the Champions League.Noussair Mazraoui – 5After a brilliant debut campaign, Mazraoui has been a shell of this player during 2025/26, to the point where a sale this summer shouldn’t be ruled out. Hasn’t been good enough.Lisandro Martinez – 7A familiar story can be written for the Argentine; he’s good when fit, but his injury issues are far too frequent. United should be looking to rely on him less in the next 12 months.Matthijs de Ligt – 5Started the campaign so well, with Rio Ferdinand labelling De Ligt as United’s best defender. But he was injured from December onwards. Hopefully, he can rediscover this form next season, as he should return from surgery early in the campaign.Ayden Heaven – 8One of the standouts is Heaven, who has been untouchable when he starts, only to be a victim of United’s lack of games this season. Should play a lot more next season and should probably be a starter ahead of Martinez.Tyrell Malacia – 2Barely played, coming off the bench just twice against Newcastle and looked hopeless. The biggest contribution was being spun by William Osula. Announced to be leaving already for free.Tyler Fredricson – 2Expected to play a bigger role this season, he’s not played a minute since the humbling against Grimsby in August. Looks set to leave this summer.Bruno Fernandes – 10The best player in the Premier League this season, Fernandes has been recognised for his brilliance. United are very lucky to have him. He also equalled the Premier League assist record, crowning an individually excellent season.Casemiro – 9The Brazil captain got to say goodbye on his terms with a brilliant campaign, the highest goal-scoring record of his career and cementing himself as a club cult hero. Will Casemiro’s comments on Manchester United inspire other top players to follow? What is your response to his statement?Kobbie Mainoo – 8From the cusp of leaving, Mainoo has blossomed post-Amorim, regaining his starting position and earning his new long-term contract. Special footballer and he’s making up for lost time.Manuel Ugarte – 3.5An Ugarte substitute appearance has become the stuff of nightmares for United fans, given his losing record in the team. The midfielder causes United to lose complete control when he plays and cannot be relied upon. Now a sale this summer looks likely.Mason Mount – 5.5It seemed like he was set for a big season under Amorim, but injuries crept in and his appearances dried up. Struggle to see a place for him beyond this season, United should be looking to cash in.Jack Fletcher – 5Made his debut but was misprofiled by Ruben Amorim and struggled in a more defensive role against Newcastle. Should get more chances next season.Tyler Fletcher – 5.5Unlike his twin, Tyler only got one opportunity off the bench but was deployed in his favoured position and looked really confident.Matheus Cunha – 8As far as debut seasons go, Cunha has been brilliant. 10 goals in the league after a slow start show how he has grown into the shirt. Next season, he will be even better.Benjamin Sesko – 8After being labelled the worst signing of the summer, Sesko has gone on to have a really solid first season for United, with 11 league goals in 17 starts.Bryan Mbeumo – 7.5Like the other two signings, Mbeumo also reached double digits for United, but gets a lower rating because he tailed off under Carrick, instead of getting better.Give us your verdict on Bryan Mbeumo’s 2025/26 season at Manchester United…Amad Diallo – 5.5After breaking out as United’s best attacker during 2024/25, we all had higher expectations of Amad this season, but poor finishing has seen him end the year with two goals. He needs to rebuild that confidence and come back better next season.Joshua Zirkzee – 4Some flashes, but the season has just proved why Zirkzee isn’t going to work out for United. A summer move looks likely.Shea Lacey – 7Excellent cameos were unfortunately overshadowed by a red card in the FA Cup. Way too good for academy football, and we expect next season he will get plenty of minutes. Just a shame his strike against Burnley didn’t go in.Bendito Mantato – 5
